Coupons/Deals

We have decided to run the sale on our Micronized Creatine Mondohydrat and D-Aspartic Acid through the end of May.  Right now you can get 4lbs of our Micronized Creatine Monohydrate for only $19.99 and 400 grams of D-Aspartic Acid for only $20.99. I don’t think you will ever see a deal like these on either of these products. We have also put Agmatine on sale. You can get 30 grams of Agmatine for only $15.99, 100 grams for $39.99, and 200 grams for only $75.99. For reference, one 30 grams bottle of agmatine will last approximately 60 days with daily use. It is very potent.

We also have free shipping on all Continental US orders over $100. Just enter code “freeship” in the coupon field at checkout.

Agmatine

For those of you that have not tried Agmatine, it is one of the best nutritional supplements we have seen. Agmatine is a byproduct of Arginine that is produced through a process called decarboxylation. It is basically Arginine with the carboxylic acid end removed. It basically does everything that Argnine was purported to do but has failed to deliver. Most notably, it is a great vasodilator and helps increase both growth and luteinizing hormone levels. Many people will use it with beta alanine and Citrulline Malate to create their own pre-workout mix. To read more about this supplement, here is a good article about agmatine on bodybuilding.com.

Whey pricing

Whey concentrate pricing is anticipated to drop about 5-10% by the end of the year but Isolate pricing is expected to remain about the same as demand continues to grow internationally. Hopefully, whey isolate prices will eventually come down but the good news is that it is not projected to increase.

Shipping

I wanted to touch briefly on how we ship orders to avoid any confusion. We ship about 95% of all the orders we receive by 2:00 PM on the day the order was placed. We use a combination of Fedex, USPS, and SmartPost (a combination of FedEx and the USPS) to deliver orders. This allows us to only charge a flat rate of $6.95 per order. Generally, light weight orders (under 2lbs) ship via the USPS and orders between 2 and 9 pounds will ship via SmartPost or FedEx. Orders over this weight almost always ship via FedEx Ground. Even using these services, our average shipping cost run over $11.00 per package.

International orders

For our international customers, we ship internationally through “International Checkout.” Just hit the International Checkout icon when you checkout. We use them for security purposes and because they get better shipping rates. On international orders, usually the shipping deals get better as you add more products; their rates are a little high for small orders. Unfortunately, you cannot use our coupons through this service, as any coupon we have in place are used by them and the savings are used to lower your shipping cost.

We would love to have you join our Facebook group. We now have over 800 members in this group and it is really a fun way for everyone to interact about fitness and nutrition. You can also see updated pictures of my oldest son, Conrad as he prepares for the Teen National. I try to jump on as often as I can and many of our members are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If you have any comments, concerns, or questions about any of our products or any other health related products, chances are someone in this group can help you out. This is also a good group to get fitness advice and also share your experiences. Feel free to add me as a friend as well.

Weight Gainers

We often get asked why we have two weight gain products. The answer is pretty simple; we put together a special weight gain product to help my son rapidly gain weight after he finished a cutting cycle for bodybuilding competitions. He tried some of the weight gain products available at our local health food store but none of them worked.

Lean Weight Gainer: The product we put together for him had a much higher protein to carb ratio than any other product, and it also used very high end proteins (whey isolate & micellar casein) versus lower end (sweet whey and calcium caseinate). We also found that using waxy maize (a relatively low glycemic index carbohydrate) in addition to maltodextrin (high glycemic carbohydrate) was beneficial in terms of digestion. The formula worked well for him and we named this product our Lean Weight Gainer. Since formulating this product several years ago, we have received countless emails and testimonials from people telling us how good it worked for them, including 3 chemotherapy patients who took the product during their treatments and were able to not lose weight during treatment. To this day, I have not seen a product that would compare to this product in terms of effectiveness.

Hardcore Weight Gainer: To be honest, we put this product together as a “me too” product because we had all the ingredients. Unfortunately, when most people look for a weight gain product, they use Serious Mass as the standard and want the product to have about 1300 calories with 50 grams of protein. For this reason, we put together our Hardcore Weight Gainer. The protein to carb ratio is virtually identical to ON’s Serious Mass but ours is all natural, uses much higher end proteins and far fewer ingredients.

My advice: Hands down, our Lean Weight Gainer is a far superior product. However, the reason most weight products do not work is because you take in so much powder, they actually become a meal replacer. Weight gainers should never reduce your normal eating, if they do, cut down on the amount of weight gain product you are taking. Or simply create your own weight gainer by incorporating a little maltodextrin and waxy maize with your protein. This option not only allows you much more flexibility but also allows you to create a meal replacement (basically just maltodextrin and protein).

If you have not yet joined our Facebook group, we would love to have you join this group. I try to jump on as often as I can and many of our members are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Conrad, my oldest son that I reference above, is getting ready to compete in the Teen National. You can see his weekly progress on this group as Aaron Smith helps him during the cutting phase with specific diet, posing, and body part sculpting. If you have any comments, concerns, or questions about any of our products or any other health related products, chances are someone in this group can help you out. This is also a good group to get fitness advice and also share your experiences. Feel free to add me as a friend as well.
